is there any way to change text changing itself after you refresh external data from the internet

For example: if the text you added to the spreadsheet was the United States of America, and then you changed it to USA.

Is it possible to keep it as USA after refreshing the external data.

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
if the data you are pulling in says united states of America, then no,

but you could run a macro after that would change it on the stored data, until refreshed again

would be pretty quick, depends on the amounts of changes you need to make, and the amount of data

if you were using SQL then you could do it on the connection replace(text),'united states of america','USA')
