Required cell without use of VBA

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Without VBA, not really.
But you may be able to use Data Validation to prevent to other cells based on that, or use Conditional Formatting to bring attention to it.

But you would have to define for us the requirements, such as:
- which cell?
- what limitations are placed if this cell is not filled out?

It would be cell I6. It would be something to stop the user from leaving the Excel sheet before filling in the cell with their initials.
