Screen Refreshing constantly

Hi,

Wondering if anyone can help me.

I'm using Excel 2016 and when I open a workbook, my screen flickers every ten seconds or so like it's refreshing.

It's quite frustrating as I have a filter on the worksheet and when I click on the filter to filter our some data, it just closes before I get a chance to actually choose the data I need.

Anyone got any ideas why this is happening? I turned calculation to manual and it still occurs.

Also, there are no macros in the workbook..it happens when I open any workbook, including starting a new one.

Thanks,

Eoin

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
Thanks for your response, but this was working yesterday (and every day for the past year since I've installed Office 2016) and nothing has changed with my video configuration.

It's so annoying...I've created a graph and when I try to click add chart elements to add a trend line, the refresh keeps occurring and closing the dialog box that I've just clicked on...

Do you have any files that load on startup & if so do they contain macros?

Ok, I found out the issue...it was dropbox for some weird/strange reason (there are other people on other forums saying they have the same issue).

I uninstalled dropbox and I no longer have the issue!
