Hi

I have an issue with MS Word 2016 where I have tables within a word document. What is happening is that when I open a word document that has tables inserted if I start to type anywhere in the document the top row of the table can lose its formatting so that the top row loses parts of the table such as the borders and the alignment can be thrown out.

There is a fix to this which is to click through the different display views and it comes back as normal. This is happening on different machines and different word documents. It has not always happened so it is possibly the result of a windows update.

Does anyone know how to stop this happening?

thanks
Andrew

Hi Macropod

Thanks for the reply, It has now ben found to be a Word bug, switching comments off can help but doesnt fully solve.

Have now saved down as a .doc instead of docx and this appears to work

Thanks
Andrew
