Transfer Data Back & Forth Between Workbooks

Hi everyone,

I have started a new position within my company that requires me to track building permits and data from individual sales associates. Each sales associate keeps track of their work via an Excel workbook, and I track what they do by manually adding their new information to my "Master" tracking workbook. This is a cumbersome and inefficient system that I would like to change. So here is what I want to do...

I would like to have a MASTER TRACKING SYSTEM where I can add information (DATE/LOCATION/ADDRESS/CONTACT INFO/ETC) and have it automatically update the sales associates personal workbooks. In reverse, I want their workbooks to add updated information (some cells may have new information, or there may even be an entire row that did not exist in the MASTER) back into the MASTER TRACKING SYSTEM. This would eliminate the delay in information and make everyone's life easier.

I know this is complex, and I have tried a few things with no success. If anyone can help me out with this I would greatly appreciate it.

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
