Vba increase cell value by 5%

Hi all,

I was wondering if i could get your advice.

Is there a way to automatically increase a numerical value in "column A" by 5% without having to add another column to do the calculation within VBA.

I haven't come across any Google topics that can answer this question.

Not sure if you want to multipy a single value in column A, or a range of values.
One way to do a range of values (a single value would be even simpler, just the one line):

Sub Test()

    Dim cell As Range

    For Each cell In Range("A1:A10")
        cell.Value = cell.Value * 1.05
    Next cell
    
End Sub

Note that this can be done even easier WITHOUT VBA and without an extra column.
Just type 1.05 in any blank cell, highlight that cell and select Copy. Then, select all the values in column A, right-click, and select Paste Special -> Multiply -> OK.
That will multiple all those selected values by 1.05 at once (in place).
