thanks kindly for any help

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Without seeing your sheet, difficult to suggest solution.

What are the multiple ranges?
What sheets are they on?

Can you give an example of what the formula looks like inside a cell, using 2 ranges? That can be used to then suggest how to expand.
Include what cell is it in and what is the name of the sheet the cell is on

you can do an iferror(vlookup(sheet1),vlookup(sheet2)) nesting iferrors as needed
