AutoScale Y Axis of Chart based on Range VBA

Here is what I am trying to do.
There are two columns of data for my waterfall chart Y axis.
I would like the code to read the two columns and find the lowest and highest values.
I would then like the code to set the lowest value on the Y axis to $500k less than the lowest value and $500k more than the highest value.

Is this possible?

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).

All I have to do now is figure out why my tick marks vanished...
