Hello,

I apologize if a similar question has already been asked.

I am trying to generate a table from data that I've collected. I want to extract 3 data points, and the associated tool that have the smallest range from the whole sample.

I have it set up where column D, F, H, J, L, N, P, R displays the tool used. The associated measurement is in column E, G, I, K, M, O, Q, S.

Thanks for the help!

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
If column D is tool and E is value try
=indirect("D" & match(small(E1:E50,1),E1:E50)) finds smallest value in col E and corresponding value in D.
