Hi

Im trying to add an index match into a sumifs formula but cant get it to work.
I've tried
=SUMIFS(INDEX($C$5:$AB$500,,MATCH(A$2, $C$3:$AB$3, 0)),$B:$B,">="&A3,$B:$B,"<="&A4)

C5:AB500 is my data field
A2 is the item im looking for
C3:AB3 is the list of items(headers)
Column B is dates
A3 & A4 are dates

anyone help with the above.

thanks

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Hi, as you are using full column references for the criteria ranges - you need to do the same for the sumrange - i.e.

=SUMIFS(INDEX($C:$AB,,MATCH(A$2, $C$3:$AB$3, 0)),$B:$B,">="&A3,$B:$B,"<="&A4)
