Hello -

I have a worksheet that will use a datarange of A2:A1000 within a sheet name of "ABC"

I would like a variable that will return the number of rows that contain data. Anywhere between 1 and 999 is possible.

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
Try:
Code:
MsgBox WorksheetFunction.CountA(Sheets("ABC").Range("A1:A1000"))

Thank you for the reply. I didn't need a msgbox but the remaining code you provided worked !! :) Thanks again.

The message box is just to show you the result, off course you need to amend it to populate the result into your variable.:)
You're welcome, glad to help, & thanks for the feedback.:)
