Auto Complete for Data Validation in Excel

Hi,
No, there isn't a way built-in to data validation lists so you can just do this "out of the box". There are various alternatives; for example:

Not the best solution, but possibly the simplest:
1. Type or copy/paste your list of items in the rows directly above the validated cells.
2. Name the range (if desired)
3. Hide the rows that contain the target data
4. Use Data Validation > List, Refer to [your named range]
5. Toast your accomplishment
