Hi
i have an excel sheet from time attendance machine with time stamps on in and out times of my staff. problem is that this data is not in number form. excel formulas are not working on this format how to convert this data into proper format. MID function is used to split time stamps in different cells like this
11:22
13:29
14:55

i have to use -- sign with Mid function than it was working fine. how to correct data format where mid function is not used please help. thank you

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
do you get
0.473611
0.561806
0.621528

<colgroup><col style="width:54pt" width="72"> </colgroup><tbody>
</tbody>
in which case you need to format as h:mm
