Hi everyone,

I'm Cristian and this is my very first post on the blog. :) A few weeks ago I came across with an issue and I'd like to share it with you. I haven’t seen that before and I was wondering if anyone else could provide a piece of advice.

I have a large table in Excel (formatted as table) with millions of data and I used to be able to copy and paste from a cell to another cell. However, something happen in the meanwhile and that action is not possible anymore; copy and paste is not working anymore.

In the first instance I thought that c/p was disabled from Options but it’s not. I’ve been researching on Google for various solutions but it seems like nobody managed to find it yet. However, there are only 2 ways to copy and paste at the moment:
- the first one is by using Clipboard but it is not what I need.
- the second one is by copying the text only (not the cell) and past it in a different cell.

These solutions limit my actions and make me to do many things manually which is not what I need.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Thanks,

Cristian

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
