Hi,

I have a data validation cell with 3 different options

Is it possible to have "Backorder" already in the cell as part of the formula so the option would be to change from "Backorder" to "Despatch" or "Invoiced" etc

I am using a named range in the formula of Status_Lines

Thanks

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
I was thinking of having a formula along the lines of

=IF(F10="", "", "Backorder",IF(F10="Backorder",Status_Lines),"")

Thanks
