The excel files corrupt when saved to a file server
instead of the file there is a folder with the file name of the excel file plus a number of extra charactors (random) and in the folder a file with a randon group of letter and numbers for a file name but no extension.
This file can be renamed as a excel file and then can be used.
can you tell me why this happens please
this started to happen recently so is there an update that has caused this
we use DFS to replicate this server to another server.
the folder name is in this format {file name of original document}.sb-{9numbers/letters}-{6numbers/letters}
the file in this folder is just numbers/letters with no extension.
