Hello,

I have a excel problem here, and I seriously hope someone can help me on. I've been trying to figure this thing out for a while now, but still couldn't.

We have one company model that we use to do all our analysis on. The model is good and usable. The only problem is that whenever we opened the file, we get bunch of error messages.

Caused:
I think part of the reason is because we took some worksheet from other company (which has a different network drive). And we incorporated that portion to our new excel model (In a new network address).

What I've tried:

  • Searching through entire workbook to links that might have came from the other company's model (Found nothing)
  • Looked through all the VBA codes (No VBA Code exist)
  • Check all the edit links (All links are not associated with the other company).

Potential Solution?
Is there a way to write a VBA code to disable these error message?
I am not too sure if what i listed above is 100% the reason for these error message, it could be something else?

Below are the order of the error message.
1). We can't connect to 'http://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xls'. Please make sure you're using the correct web address

2). Miscrosoft Excel cannot access the file http://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xls. There are several possible reasons:
  • THe file name or path does not exist
  • The file is being used by another program
  • The workbook you are trying to save has the same name as currently open workbook
3). Goes back to error #1 with a different address
4). Goes back to error #2 with a different address
5). Goes back to error #2 with a different address
6). Goes back to error #1 with a different address
7). Goes back to error #2 with a different address
8). Goes back to error #1 with a different address
9). Repeats
10). We can't update some of the links in your workbook right now. You can continue without updating their values, or edit the links you think are wrong.

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Anyone have any idea? If no response after this bump, then I will stop asking. Thanks so in advance.
