Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone had an idea on how to clean this data table.Using a tool in excel. Maybe power query? I have multiple sites as a row and for each grade I have merged column. e multiple formulas.

Merged Column (Lead Time by Grade) Merged Column (Demand by Grade) etc...............
Site A B C D A B C D
A 15 12 10 10 x x x x
B 14 8 7 6 x x x x
C 8 6 7 4 x x x x

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
Dastnai,

I do not know if I understood your question. Anyways, I think you may use Text to Columns to separate the fields(columns). Then, if you create a Privot Table you may choose the fields (columns) and rows you need. If your fields are already split try using a Pivot Table directly.

To clean the data of garbage characters install www.asap-utilities.com, free to use at home. It is one of the best add-ins out there.

I hope it helps!
