Filtering data within merged rows

So I have a spreadsheet set up for work, at the top are 3 main headers merged across 4-5 cells along the row, below these merged cells are non merged cells that rely on the above cell as a sort of category to allow me to filter them easily. The merged cells can only filter the content on the left most cell and below, not across the other cells to the side as I need. Can anybody help me with this? Or is there an easier way for me to filter this information?

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
You cant do what you want with merged cells. The only way really is to use the row below as 'new' headers then use the filter on that so it doesnt interact with the merged cells.
