Hello guys, i would like to ask if is it possible to filter a column that contains a specific data in macro. For example i would like to filter out data that contains 9000 or 5000. But the data in the column for example is 500012312. How would i do it? TIA

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
I would recommend adding a column with a formula to determine if either value exists and then filter on that column. The formula below looks for both values in cell A1 (change to appropriate cell ID). If either value is found the number "1" is placed in that column. If either number is not found the number "0" is placed. You can then filter on this column for the value of 1.

=IF(OR(ISNUMBER(SEARCH(5000,A1)),ISNUMBER(SEARCH(9000,A1))),1,0)
