I have a column that shows employee name in following format: last name, first.
I would like to create 2 new columns whereby one is for last name, the second for first name.
Appreciate the assistance!

Say your name is in cell A1.

Last name:
=LEFT(A1,FIND(",",A1)-1)

First name:
=TRIM(MID(A1,FIND(",",A1)+1,LEN(A1)))

How about in col B
=LEFT(A2,FIND(",",A2)-1)
& in col C
=TRIM(MID(A2,FIND(",",A2)+1,999))
