Hi I hope someone can help
I have a spreadsheet that draws data from other sheets through a power query.

Questions:
1)How do I autofit row height each time the query runs?
2) can I include data on the top of the source sheet above the data table and not have it included in the final query?

Any help is appreciated thanks

Excel Facts

Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
1. row height will autofit automatically after refresh

2.
a) your additional data is above source data table?
b) your source data table contain additional data?

@a) select only source data table
@b) after load source data table into PQ editor - remove TopN rows and stay with what you need

Thanks for your reply

1. Row height doesn't reset, column width does but doesn't wrap the text, just goes very wide

2a applies How do I include just the table and not the cells above? Those cells do not show in my power query editor

row height autofit automatically as I said, column width depends of your table settings:

1. Thank you! That's what I needed

2a. Having trouble posting snip of table I created source table in B3:M15 in 3 different sheets all in the same folder. Used power query to combine these table headings are my power query editor table headings. Then I put a formula in C5 to count the number of rows. Query gives a nil result if the formula is there if I delete the formula, query runs perfectly hope that makes sense

don't mix PowerQuery and formula(s)
if you want count rows use CountRows from PQ editor or any other function from PQ

post a link to shared excel file with your raw data which reflect structure and type of data and expected result. use OneDrive, GoogleDrive or any similar

Will try to post...

I want the formula to count rows on the source table only, not the query result. Is that possible?

try formula outside of the source table eg. O3

or

after load source table (with your formula in E2 / E3 ???) just remove this column in PQ editor
