How do I allow for a macro to hilight something, and have another macro to delete it?

Hi,
I currently have a macro to enable conditional formatting to highlight a row dependent on 1 cell. I can do this fine.
The problem is that when I add another macro to remove this conditional formatting, to go back to the original workbook, I can no longer run the original macro to put the highlight on. -> The workbook just stays blank like in the original.
Is there anyway that I can do both at the same time?

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
.
Not certain I understand the process but ... it sounds like you are highlighting a row in (say) Workbook #1 . Then you go, via a macro, to Workbook #2 ?

Are you "activating" and "selecting" WB #2 in the macro ? If so, when you return to WB #1 , are you also activating and selecting WB #1 to make it the active WB
before attempting to highlight a row ?

Hope that makes sense.

If the above is not correct, post your code for review.
