How to add a range inbetween text

Hi

I have the text below, where in the middle of it I want it to input the range (F8) but get an error can help please

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Where exactly is this text?
Is it part of some VBA code?
If so, can you post the whole block that has this code?

What error do you get?
What is in F8?
