Hi,

Column A has 1000 rows and Column B is 3000 rows.
I am trying to write VBA to search column A value in Column B. If found then change the background of column B yellow otherwise green.

Any help, please.

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
You can do that with conditional formatting
Select col B > Conditional formatting > new rule > use a formula >
=ISERROR(MATCH(B1,A:A,0))
Select format > OK
the formula for yellow would be
=ISNUMBER(MATCH(B1,A:A,0))
