I'm looking for a way to show if a file is open in a browser or if it is open in the excel application.
Or alternatively, a way of ensuring the file opens in the application.

My reasoning is that the file is a compiler and has macros which can only be run through the app and my colleagues think the file doesn't work when in fact they just need to open it in the application.

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
