Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me with a if, and/or, and vlookup formula. My formula would exist in A2 and perform a vlookup in another spreadsheet based on the value in A1, however, if A1 is blank I want A2 to return a empty cell value. I know this is possible, but I'm driving myself nuts driving to figure out which combination of IF, vlookup, and possibly and/or to get it working.

Thank you.

Excel Facts

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
In A2: =IF(A1="","",VLOOKUP(A1,lkupSheet&range,lkupsheet&rangecolumnNum,0))

I'm still receiving the #N/A error in A2. Here's my formula:

=IF(A1="","",VLOOKUP(A1,[BeerDatabase1.xlsx]Sheet1!$A$3:$L$27258,12))

Not sure if it matter, but the value in A1 is text and not a number.
