Is there an easier way to copy and paste without using macros or vba?

Just curious if there is a simple and easy way to copy and paste one line of data from one workbook to another and have it retain it's values and conditional formatting? It simply needs to look exactly like where I copied it from the other workbook. I don't want to have to use vba or macros. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Here is exactly what happens ... First row is actual copy of data.

The second row is after I paste it to another book.

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
So you want the formulas in the second workbook to keep referring to the first workbook?

We would need to see some of those formulas.

So do I need to have the formula when I paste it? Cuz when I special paste it I check the box to have all formulas and whatnot copied with it as well.

Why doesn't it just paste the data that is in the cells? I don't understand why it won't.

If you copy the row and then say paste formulas and then you look in that cell on the Formula Bar you will see the formula is still there.

But the results will be different depending on the formula
