Need template for tracking project tasks

Help me!! I have been searching for a template I can use to give me a starting point to create a project tracking document. I need to track several tasks that will have moving dates and be able to have cells change colors for priority, when dates are behind or on target, etc.. I'm not looking for super advanced as I would not be able to figure out how to use it but I also don't want super simple.

Before starting from scratch I was hoping someone had a template I could use or tell me a good place to get one OR give me a few ideas for creating a project task tracker.

Most use a Gantt Chart .. there are many many examples on the internet.
