Next Consecutive Number On Same Cell

Hi, lets say I have a 2 on cell "C1" is there a macro that it could replace the 2 with a 3 because is the next number?

There is. Do you want to this happen automatically based on an event in the worksheet...on the click of a button....what?

Basically you're looking at this:

Sub Test
    Range("C1").Value = Range("C1").Value + 1
End Sub

How to make that happen depends on your answer to the above question.
