Hi folks,

I was hoping some of you geniuses could help me with this problem. Ultimately I need to mail merge data based on a data source being fed into Excel ideally without using Macros as I know nothing about them.

My Dataset looks as follows -

Code,Title,First Name,Surname,Address1,Address2,Address3,City,County,Postcode,Country
1,Mr,Joe,Blogs,123 Street,,,London,,EC11MQ,United Kingdom
1,Mrs,Jane,Blogs,123 Street,,,London,,EC11MQ,United Kingdom
2,Mr,Peter,Wilson,456 Street,,,London,,EC11MQ,United Kingdom
2,Mrs,Cath,Wilson,456 Street,,,London,,EC11MQ,United Kingdom
2,Miss,Cj,Wilson,456 Street,,,London,,EC11MQ,United Kingdom
2,Mr,Jj,Wilson,456 Street,,,London,,EC11MQ,United Kingdom
3,Mr,James,Dean,789 Street,,,London,,EC11MQ,United Kingdom
3,,Guest,,,,,,,,
4,Mr,Paul,Down,111 Street,,,London,,EC11MQ,United Kingdom
4,Mrs,Clare,Murphy,111 Street,,,London,,EC11MQ,United Kingdom

So lets say I want to create a new worksheet on the fly saying something like this -

Code,Guests,Address1,Address2,Address3,City,County,Postcode,Country
1,Mr and Mrs Blogs,123 Street,,,London,,EC11MQ,United Kingdom
2,Mr and Mrs,Wilson,456 Street,,,London,,EC11MQ,United Kingdom (the top 2 lines are always Adults the other two are children)
3,Mr James Dean,789 Street,,,London,,EC11MQ,United Kingdom
4,Mr Paul Down and Mrs Clare Murphy,111 Street,,,London,,EC11MQ,United Kingdom

Anyone any clever suggestions on how to get my dataset into the above format with a combination of formulas or how would you go about this?

Any help is very much appreciated!!

Thanks,
BL

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
