Hi There,

I am trying to create a dropdown list (data>data validation>Allow List) that auto-predicts the full word I am going to write.

For example, if my list consists of

Germany
Belgium
Azores
Portugal

I would like to be able to write Az and have the rest of the text identified. Can you please help me to create such an "intelligent" dropdown menu? It doesn't necessarily have to be done through Data>Data Validation if you can think of something else that does the same job!

Thanks so much!

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Hi there,

I'm sorry if this is annoying to you, but I really don't know how to use it or where to find it.

Is there any chance you could jot down some quick instructions on how I can set it up?

Thanks so much!
