When I do VLOOKUP from another sheet, the resulting data is not searchable to the current sheet where I have the VLOOKUP formula. Why is this and what's the workaround? Please help.

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Might help as well to post a sample of your data and the formula you are using.

I think what rsortilla meant was not being able to get the search result on "VLOOKUP result". I ran into the same problem as well. Please help!

For exmaple, the Vlookup result returned a text " Pineapple orange", when you do a CTRL F to find the word "Pineapple" in the same spreadsheet ,Excel couldn't find it.

Need a workaround here.

Thanks in advance
