I have a table with three columns. Column 1 is a date column. Columns 2 and 3 are water pressure vales (high in column 2 and low in column 3). I want to look down the column 2 entries, find the highest [=max(X:X)] value and return the value in the cell immediately to the right in column 3.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
You've laid out the pieces, you just need to put them together!

Code:
=VLOOKUP(MAX(B2:B100),B2:C100,2,0)

adjusting the ranges as needed

After positing I continued to struggle with this and finally got it. Afterward I found your post. Thanks so much!
