Filter and Sort not working in Excel

I created a workbook with four different sheets, then I copied and pasted the info from each sheet onto a new workbook, but only onto one sheet. From that one sheet, I want to filter and sort data, but these functions do not work. Excel is only able to filter limited data, but not all of it. When I try to sort, the data in two columns transpose. When I try to ascend or descend the data, only limited data is ascended or descended. Access and Google Sheets, can't do it either, I get the same results as in Excel. Please help.

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
I assume that we don't need to know the contents of the first workwork (with the four sheets) but it would be helpful to provide a copy (or a very similiar example, if data is sensitive) of the second work, and then explain your problem from there.
