Blank Excel 2013 worksheets

When I open an Excel file (Office 2013) the worksheets all display as empty worksheets. If I uncheck 'formula bar; under View, then the worksheets in the file all display normally. I can then re-check the formula bar view and everything is fine until I close and re-open Excel.

Anyone have an idea why this is happening and how to fix it (short of reinstall)?

Hi Tim,

Does it happen with all workbooks or just a certain one/ones?

Do you have any Add-Ins installed you could try removing?

Thanks - apparently both the Solver add-in and the Analysis Toolpak add-in are causing this behavior. Both have to be disabled for this not to occur.
