Hi Everyone:

I have two columns that have a heading and I center across the selection (columns A & B). Next to this, I have another two columns that also center across the selection (columns C & D). When I have something in column A and Column C, everything works perfectly. If I have something only in Column C, it works great. If I only have something in Column A - it centers across all columns (A - D). Any way to prevent that from happening?

I appreciate any help given.

J

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Put something-- e.g., a space -- in the empty cell, or change the alignment of the empty cell.

Thank shg! I did figure that out. However, these sheets are being used from a web app that is populating the data. It is based on a user's criteria selection, so there is no way to predetermine if the columns C&D will have anything or not. Is there another solution before I spend more on a programmer to make that adjustment in his app?

No way I know of -- never had the need to ponder.
