Hi all,

I'm pretty new to excel and I'm trying to achieve something I think I've seen done before.

I have a normal line graph in excel with data points. These data point are specific to the data i entered as the x and y values to make the graph. What I'm trying to do is identify a point on the graph with an "active" or move-able cursor or point. Simply a point that moves along the graph line if click and drag it and actively displays the x and y values for instance in my case it is price v weight. Is this possible to achieve? is there any other method I can use ? It would be helpful to get a real time view of x and y value independent of the data points whether that means click and dragging an interactive dot on the line or hovering my mouse over ANY region of the line and seeing the x and y value. Any help is much appreciated, I am basic user of excel so please bare with me.

Cheers!

:)
